The University of Melbourne is renowned for its outstanding academic research and teaching quality. During this laboratory visit, we witnessed firsthand how scientists conduct various experiments and research. The rigorous scientific approach, state-of-the-art experimental equipment, and creative research projects left us with deep admiration.

The researchers in the laboratory were highly focused on their work. Their dedication to science and their exploratory spirit toward the unknown inspired us greatly. We also had the chance to view some of the laboratory’s cutting-edge research outcomes, which filled us with excitement about the future of technological development.

After visiting the laboratory, Dr. Zhang took us on a wine-tasting journey at the IDL Wine Estate, a vineyard in Victoria that produces and bottles wines. Starting with entry-level wines, we tasted a variety of wines with rich and diverse flavors, giving us a new sensory experience. Through the application of new technologies from the University of Melbourne, we could compare the before-and-after quality of the wines, noting significant improvements in aroma, color, and smoothness.

Dr. Zhang introduced each wine's taste, characteristics, and the ideal occasions for consumption. As we savored the wines, we also enjoyed a feast of knowledge. This wine-tasting journey not only allowed us to taste fine wines but also reminded us of the beauty and richness of life.
