Twin City Festival 2019

Melbourne All-Star Dream Spring Festival Gala

On February 9, 2019, the Asia-Pacific Twin Cities International Arts Festival and the Melbourne All-Star Dream Spring Festival Gala were successfully held at the Hawthorn Arts Center. The festival’s cross-sector networking reception and the grand Spring Gala brought together numerous prominent figures from the political, business, and arts communities of both Australia and China.

The Cross-Sector Networking Reception of the Arts Festival was co-hosted by the Australia-China Business & Culture Bridge Council (ACBCC) and local Melbourne organizations, receiving strong support from local political, business, and performing arts circles.

The Spring Gala was hosted by ACBCC, co-organized by the Victoria Chinese Youth Association, and supported by sponsors such as Golden Realty.

Festival Purpose

The Asia-Pacific Twin Cities International Arts Festival aims to foster communication and exchange among youth in major cities across Australia and China in the fields of art, culture, talent, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It provides young people with more opportunities to broaden their horizons, improve their capabilities, and pursue their dreams.

In addition, the festival seeks to expand commercial cooperation opportunities between Shanghai and Melbourne and other Chinese cities, promoting integration in the arts, economy, and branding sectors—using culture to boost the economy and using the economy to support cultural development. The ultimate goal is to create a diverse, cross-sector promotion platform for inter-city collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.
